Ivan Dominik Juras, bishop of Pula, as he decided to give the right of almuce to the chapter of distinguished collegiate church of Saint Blasius in Vodnjan on December 10, 1790, in the sixth century since its institution, and with the approval of Sacred Congregation(?) of December 15, 1790, personally bestowed it on 28th of January 1791 to several worthy members.  +

Gratefully placed by Andrea Rocco, provost, and Niccolo Rocco, Marco Dapas, Matteo Callegari, Antonio Onofrio, Domenico Daveggia and Domenico Quarantotto, canons, in the year of our Lord 1854.  +

This church, whose first stone was laid by Giulio Saraceno of Vicenza, bishop of Pula, was consecrated in honour of Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel by Bernardo Corniani of Venice, bishop of Pula, as wel as, in the same day, three altars, of Saint Mary of Mount Carmel, of Saint Mark and of Saint Sebastian, at the petition of reverend sir Niccolò Tarvisini, chaplain(?), the most excelent sir Giovanni de Bachiochi of Muggia, medical doctor, and sir Domenico Veneruti(?), counsellors; he also gave the usual indulgences. On Wednesday, May 21, 1664.  +

The bones of martyr Lawrence(?), brought from Rome by Bartiroma(?), obtained by bishop Corniani and sent to the bishop of Trieste adorned by money of the community, are venerated on the basis of the documents by ... notary Niccolò Floreli and documents by deputy Caraea(?). Lest this vanishes from memory, on 7th of December 1661, the community of Šišan, with grateful spirit, placed this monument in the time of archpriest Lorenzo Urbano of Vodnjan.  +
