Translation (en) To God, the most good, the most great. For the reason that Pius IX, the Supreme Pontiff, by the most solemn apostolic letter on September 1st, in the year 1853, gave to the collegial chapter of this eminent temple decorous sign of rochet, mozzetta and cross, with mediation by Doctor Antonio Peteani, bishop of Poreč and Pula, gratefully placed by Andreas Rocco, provost, and Niccolo Rocco, Marco Dapas, Matteo Callegari, Antonio Onofrio, Domenico Daveggia and Domenico Quarantotto, canons, in the year of our Lord 1854.
