Decoration	The church of St. Catherine of Alexandria is located at the eastern exit from Svetvinčenat and is a beautiful example of Istrian Gothic architecture with an open roof and a square apse with a pointed vault. The church was built at the beginning of the 15th century and was soon painted. The wall paintings with the theme of the life and martyrdom of St. Catherine, as well as the Christological cycle, are the work of a painter educated in northern Italy. The lopica (portico) in front of the church was built in the 18th century, as evidenced by the inscription carved on the pillar in the right corner.
