The sea was of stone, stone was soft, to cattle the yoke was easy and the burden was light. Here it is venerated as a true gem, protection, felicity and divine item of the inhabitants of Rovinj. Placed by Daniele Balbi, podestate. 1680.|The text is left and right justified. The letters are painted in black, teh fild is in dirty uneven white and brown colour.
